Welcome to the Wallingford Democratic Party website which is designed to facilitate your obtaining information concerning local, state and national governmental issues as well as familiarizing yourself with candidates seeking office. It is our belief that the more knowledgeable and informed you are the more likely it is that you will elect the most qualified individuals to represent us. Hopefully, this site and its links will instill and encourage interest in being more involved in the political process, especially on a local level.

We realize that for government to be effective there must be co-operation, sharing of ideas and compromise between the parties and our elected representatives. There has to be a middle ground between the philosophies of the far left and far right, and your ideas and involvement can help achieve that goal.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you’re interested, need more information or have any suggestions in making our government more responsive to the needs of the community. Information regarding the time and place of our monthly meetings is posted on this site and we welcome your input.
